Claire Craven is a designer located in Raleigh, NC. Formally trained as an architect, she practiced modern architecture for seven years with award-winning firms such as Gray Organshi Architecture and The Raleigh Architecture Co before her love for plants led her towards landscape design.

Passionate about native plants, ecological landscaping, and living things of all kinds, Claire believes that gardens are love letters to our planet, and that planting is sharing.

When she isn’t designing landscapes or working in her garden, Claire doodles for her illustration company cravencolor and teaches design fundamentals as an adjunct for the NCSU School of Design.
